    Default New user titles

The recent poll gave us a good idea of what members wanted in terms of user titles. Although the option with the most votes was "no titles" (approx.30% of votes) it was also clear that overall, the consensus was that a title system would be a good idea (title options overall gaining 60% of the vote) with the "wingspan" model getting the most votes.

All titles have now been changed and the option of having custom titles after a certain amount of posts may be implemented in the near future.

Titles and post counts are as follows:

    New member 0
    Wingspan: Weebill 25
    Wingspan: Pardalote 100
    Wingspan: Dotterel 250
    Wingspan: Lorikeet 500
    Wingspan: Falcon 1000
    Wingspan: Egret 1500
    Wingspan: Brolga 2000
    Wingspan: Albatross 2500

I hope these titles are clear enough and I must reiterate that these titles are just a bit of fun and in know way indicate members experience or bird/photographic knowledge.

    Enjoy your new title

Initially, I was not a fan of having birds associated with my name. I do like Falcon though, I must admit. Looks like I will stop at 1,499 posts then.

A pair of happy Lorikeets here, an excellent addition to the Forum in our opinion.

I was certain there'd be a Wedge-tailed Eagle wingspan, seeing as that is the sites emblem.. maybe reserved for staff?

I would change my avatar if only I had a decent image of an Albatross!

I'm glad I'm not the only one.
