    Default 'Larger ' front page

    Hi Admin gents,

Congratulations on the new site. Just wondering about the size of the front page in terms of how long an image remains on it. A few similar sites enable you to scroll down a lot further so images stay on the front page for longer. With our generous two per day posting rule it means that the turn over is pretty quick and, unless you have the opportunity of checking regularly, really good images can pass you by. Any thoughts on this?

    cheers
    Rob

G'day Rob. Are you referring to the sidebar where it displays 'Latest Forum Threads' or the main content in the centre section of the page? Both can be altered from our end.

    Thanks Rob,
Just upped the number of posts displayed to 30 instead of 20. What do you think? We were concerned that the pages would be too slow to load due to thumbnails etc so please give us feedback if you think this has indeed slowed it down or if it is ok?
    Cheers, Dave

No worries Rob! Rich has also just alerted me to the fact that you can alter this personally in your User Control Panel -> My Account -> General Settings
(might need to scroll down a little way)
EDIT - sorry you can actually only change the number of POSTS displayed not the number of THREADS! Sorry for the incorrect advice Rob - misunderstanding sorry. Nevertheless it shouldn't need to be changed now anyway
    Cheers, Dave
