Default WEEKLY THEME GALLERY 7/5/11 "I'VE BEEN FRAMED"

This week its all about images where natural elements "frame" the subject. Works particularly well with birds that are captured amongst foliage.
    Heres an example or two

    Common Blackbird (Turdus merula)
    Mambourin Gardens, Werribee 7/5/2011

    Canon 5D 400mm f5.6 L iso 800 1/160th f5.6 CW metering +1/3 handheld
Photoshop-slight sharpen and clone out of yellow leaf that ruined the green frame

Magnificent Riflebird, Photographed in Iron Range NP in December 2009.
    Nikon D300, 300mm f4, 1.4xC

He is framed by the oof branches (not the look I was going for). I really stuffed up this photo op; my exposures were terrible, I wish I knew a bit more then and had my current lens.....Well at least it's a displaying Riflebird

    You certainly are, Margaret.

Not sure I can find much to suit this theme, this'd be about the closest?
