    Default Canon 7D

My new one turned up this morning ( excited smiley). My question is..what is the best card to use?. Also does anyone know an instrument technician I can call to sort out all the buttons.. .
The voices in my head may not be real, but they come up with some great ideas..

    Cheers Rev.

    Congrats

A UDMA6 card is recommended for the 5D II due to the Full HD video, so I'd recommend the same for the 7D.

Sandisk make a 60mb/s second card that is rated very well.
I use a 90mb/s card, and the buffer does fill after a few second. Since your camera has more MP than mine, but less FPS, a 60 or 90mb/s card would be sufficient.

Kingston and Lexar are also good brands.

I use SanDisk Extreme or Pro or whatever they are called now. Basically the best and fastest you can get/afford. Adam's advice is great. I use the 8GB 60MB/s

Yeah Ray, whatever you get make sure it is at least an 8GB card. I currently use 4GB cards with my 7D but find shooting raw fills up the card very quickly. An 8GB card should hold circa 300 images.
