Default Having submitted image in view when commenting?

Have this problem when commenting on entries in Australian Birding Images.
About 50% of the time image is in view and commenting is straight forward. The other 50% of the time the image is not available to comment on unless you open another session of BirdingOz. Is this just faulty use of th site by me or an actual fault in the site?

    Best regards

It may be the manner in which the image is uploaded / available for viewing for the original post that determines whether you can see it in the reply page. I have noticed the same.

To have the image show up in the reply page the image code must be added to the text box. To do this, after you have uploaded your image, there is a box underneath the text section that says "Attachments" and your file name will be there as well as the "place inline" button. Just click the cursor at the end of your message/post and then click on the "place inline" button. The image code will now be there in the text box. Post away and it will be visible in the reply page when you look at it too.
Definitely makes things a lot easier when you are replying and you can see the image there instead of having to click back a page.
