Default WEEKLY THEME GALLERY 14/11/10 "I HEAR MOTION"

Great to hear about the lengths we have all gone to to get that special shot last week. Plenty of mozzie bites by the sound of things and many pairs of wet and muddy shoes
This week we explore the possibilities of capturing motion, which can sometimes make or break an image. Sometimes a bit of motion blur can be tolerated if the main features you were trying to capture are sharp and other times the whole image can be blurred and still make a nice image.
Any shutter speed slower than 1/250th normally gives you that little bit of blur but I must admit that most of my pleasing blurred images were taken by complete accident (the one below being no exception).

Budgerigar @ Kilcowera Station - I was trying to get a shot of the one bird, when the other flew in behind as I was taking the photo. This is one of my favourite photos I've ever taken
