Great setting Barry and I love the look of intent on the face. Not sure if I would crop it square though.

Thanks Richard. I probably agree but she who must be obeyed liked it square best. The alternative is as follows:

A couple of times I asked "she who must be obeyed" and she chose images that ended up IOTW. My SWMBO says she likes your second best!

I like the wider crop too, Barry. Love the pose and setting. I wonder if it could go a little brighter and perhaps a smidge warmer.

It's great Barry - it has a kind of magical 'differentness' - leave it as it is. Buy her a new handbag or pair shoes instead.

Lovely shot Barry. I normally like lots of close up detail but I think the landscape with the wider view wins it for me. Well done, not a bird I can recall seeing here before.

    Cheers Albie

Nice image Barry. I like the second crop. I have never seen this bird, so good to see a nice shot of it. Wilson

Great shot Barry. I don't mind square crops but think on balance the rectangular suits this given that the branch is in focus. Apologies to your SWMBO
