    Attraction Aides- none

    Post Production- Some minor level adjustment, extraneous woodwork cloned out and cropped using PS.

    Notes- Finally managed to get out to Monarto and found it well worth it. Saw 4 lifers for the day including this one.

    Lovely birds firetails, this is one I haven't seen. Would like to see a bit more room all round Ian but moreso in front. Pity about the shadow across the bird and shooting angle a little steep but at least you did get a nice shot and a 'lifer'.

    Hi Ian, I was at Monato on Thursday and got these beautiful little firetails, was a real treat. I am back in Perth now, enjoyed a few days in Adelaide.

    Tricky to get these little birds and I think you did reasonably well, shame about the shadow. Great shot

    The shadow has been mentioned, and a little more head turn towards you would have been nice. Also agree with Les' comments re space. A well-exposed, sharp image!
