    Default Silver gull trying to develop tern technique

    I have watched this lone Silver Gull for a couple of weeks working hard to develop a fishing technique, seems to be starting to pay off. Not the best photos.Click image for larger version.

    They're actually quite good fishermen, Jane. It's not unusual to see them going in that deep for a fish (probably to go whit their stolen chips ).

    Yes after I posted this I noticed several others doing the same thing.....
