    Location- Turkey Rest Lagoon, Beaumont Hills

    F-Stop- f/6.3
    Shutter Speed- 1/2000s
    Exposure Bias/Metering/Flash- Nil/Evaluative/Not fired

    Technique - Handheld

    Attraction Aides- Nil

    Post Production- Slight Crop, Slight saturation, Background NR, slight exposure adjustment

    Notes- Tried out my new lens yesterday. It will take a bit of adjusting to get used to the increase in weight and feel but loving the extra sharpness I can achieve with this lens.

    Well done Narelle, this is a lovely photo and your sharpness is good. The colours and pose are also great. I can see that you are going to have a lot of fun with the lens and your images are going to go from strength to strength as you realise its capabilities. Good luck to you.

    Beautifully caught, Narelle. I really like the downward wing position. Just a tip - if you're going to continue photographing these blokes, remember that their underwing is very white and can blow out easily if you're not ready for it.

    That upper layer of green in the water has a lovely little vignette(esque) effect which works really nicely here to keep the whole scene soft and delicate.
