Default WEEKLY THEME GALLERY 6/6/10 "WHITE AND BRIGHT"

A great response to last weeks theme, loved seeing all your black birds. Time to even the score with your brightest, whitest birds this week. Any white bird or bird with white in its name is up for inclusion, good luck

Not the best exposed shot, but they are all white, by name or nature.....

    Superb Fairy wren,
It does have a reasonable amount of white so thought i would post it. :P

OK, this looks a bit odd (which is why I've posted it really). I scanned my collection for the word 'white' and naturally this turned up! It looks so wrong in this thread... but it is WHITE AND BRIGHT!!

I chose this as it's a bit unusual to see them down near the ground. Captured this girl as she's come down for a morning drink. I think their colours look amazing in sunlight, usually only see them in the shade.

I photographed this Little-pied Cormorant a couple of years ago - thought it worked for the white and bright theme - the background was untouched - very stark but somehow it works OK cheers David Taylor
