    Default 18-55mm

Is the Canon 18-55mm IS lens any good for bird photgraphy?
I just wish the world was twice as big and half of it was still unexplored.

Reposts and hard C&C always welcome,

Only going to be good for "birdscape" type of shots Micah. Not enough magnification to get close to you subjects unfortunately. :ugeek:

As Paul said Micah, this isn't going to help you at all unfortunately. You really need at least a 300mm lens. The longer the better basically.
