    Ladies and gents, photo taken yesterday at the Oxley Creek Common in Brisbane.

    Nikon D300s, Nikkor 500mm f4 + TC14 + Monopod
    1/200, f5.6, ISO400

    Great lighting.Comp is a bit awkward.I think as the tail is so close to the top of frame,a bit has to come off the bottom to balance it up.

    Nice image - the back-lighting really works in this case. Agree with Geoff re some off the bottom

    Wow what a flexible bird looks to be doing the splits. Can be tough with back lighting but you have done well.

    I liked the pose and nice effect of back lit but have to agree about framing.
