    Last week the theme saw us explore two of a kind shots with two of the same species in the image. This week its shots with two birds in them again but this time with different species

    Heres an example....Black Kite and Whistling Kite

    We think this one looks a little strange. Nankeen Kestrel & Major Mitchell's Cockatoo having an early morning chat at Casuarina Campground, Wyperfeld National Park Vic.

    Far from a decent image, but it fits the theme. There were actually three striated pardalotes harassing the rainbow bee-eater. From Altona Reserve, Feb 2011.

    Thought that these two were odd, seeing as the Royal Spoonbill was half way through a Royal Dump.

    Default Barn Owl and friends!!!

    Barn Owl and Magpie-Larks. All looks peaceful here, but the Magpie-Larks were just taking a break from harrassing the Barn Owl. At Bell's Swamp near Maldon, Vic in early January this year. Canon 5D and 300mm lens with 1.4 teleconverter. Cropped, levels and sharpened.
