    Default Black-necked Stork (Ephippiorhynchus asiaticus)

First bird had caught a nice sized fish and bird number 2 (a sibling, I think) decided he would like a piece of the action, in the chasing that followed the fish was dropped (splashing behind the birds), this looks like #1 is getting a telling off from #2 for dropping the fish.

A pair of Masked Lapwings (Vanellus miles) on the Brisbane River this afternoon at Karalee, Ipswich, Queensland. Normally, I can't get close to these birds but they landed right near me while I was sitting in long grass photographing some wrens and I had to wait for them to walk away to get a shot.
