    Canon 5D 600mm f4 L (non IS) + 1.4 TC iso 400 1/2500th f9.0 CW metering handheld rested on ground
    Photoshop- slight sharpen and clean up (minimal) of water debris and dust spots

    An oldie, a Brown Honeyeater ( I hope ) I'd poked the stick into the water here , birds were landing on it within minutes.

    Seeing as we suggested this weeks thread, here is our contribution. Bar-tailed Godwit - Limosa lapponica taken early morning on 26-1-12 at Mallacoota Vic.
    Sony A200. Sigma 50-500mm lens, 1/500sec, f6.3, iso320, fairly large crop, sharpened & light adjusted.

    Default Little Pied Cormorant (Phalacrocorax melanoleucos)

    The bird is maybe a bit lost but I love the reed reflections. Townsville Towncommon 26/04/11, 8.45.
    40D, 100-400L @ 400, AP, f7.1, 1/640, iso 400. Pretty much straight from camera.
