Default Quick Replay doing funky things!

Is it just me or is the Quick Reply box being silly? Whenever I click in the box it takes several noticeable seconds for the cursor to load. And when I start typing, the first few letters don't appear.

    I'm using Firefox 10.0 FWIW.

I had some troubles with it earlier today, but seems to be working fine for me now.

I often notice characters didn't type up onto the screen that I'd pressed, and being a slow hunt and peck typist, I can't look at the screen till I'm finished, and often letters are not there - thinking the autosave has something to do with it (?)- happens on my Gmailing too, which also has autosave....
Sometimes I grrr a bit, but then get on with it!!

Nothing to do with auto save, it's a bug that's been introduced in this version of vBulletin when I upgraded about 3 weeks ago. There's a lag in the ckeditor, supposedly will be fixed in the next release of vB.

I must admit though, I can't duplicate the behaviour nor have I ever seen it. I've set some aggressive caching on the site which should prevent scripts reloading each page visit. Unless you're emptying your browser's cache when you close it, I'm surprised it's an issue.

Admittedly I've been having a whole lot of trouble the past day or two. The problems are intermittent yet persistent.
    Problems I've been having:
-ridiculously slow load times for pages
-after uploading an image, I will click "insert inline" but the image never appears in my post, freezes the page for a moment and then I have to click it again for it to work.
-after typing a post, I will hit "reply" or "post thread" and the page freezes, sometimes for minutes at a time. Yet while it's frozen, I can open up F&P in another tab, and type the same exact post and have it work and simply close the frozen page. Alternatively if I wait long enough it eventually decides to load.

I'm not having any issues, just to add some statistical evidence for the prevalence of occurence

Not complaining but I often have an issue of freezing when adding smilies.
