    Yep, don't tell the wife.

Still awaiting the Wimberley replacement foot to arrive from B&H to test the thing on the tripod.

Handholding is possible but limited time only for me.

Now I am trying to work out how I get it up to Iron range for my trip there in late November. Or would I be best off just taking the 200-400 up there?

    What do you reckon?

If you're moving a lot everyday, it will be best to take the 200-400. If you have a sherpa, both lenses will be better !
Usually, I take both when going out birding as I normally don't walk far away from the car... 8-)
