I knew I had a bird on a sign somewhere. Great Blue Heron, Ardea herodias. Gainesville, FL, USA, late 2009. Taken with the old point and shoot against the light.

Seems there aren't a lot of people with bird shots on "undesirable perches"
Here's the only one I have (might have posted it somewhere before, not sure)

We've got a fair few sign images, don't want to hog the limelight but here goes with number 1.

Still trying to figure out exactly how you litter birds, I presume it means you don't throw them away casually? I did look in the bins and they were full of feathers!

    Default Waiting guides

A couple of local guides waiting for clients to start a 'great journy of discovery' at the Oak Valley Reserve. Lemon-bellied Flycatchers (Microeca flavigaster), almost always present in the reserve parking/picnic/kids playground and often very approachable. They may have to wait a while, I have only meet 1 other birder in a year or more of monthly visits. Not that I'm complaining, thats the way I like it.

    Default Gimme a sign

I think this Grey-headed Robin took this sign literally. Can Robins read?
