    Default Ruddy Turnstones

Ruddy Turnstones ( Arenaria interpres) at Point Lonsdale, Vic on 18/6/2011. 1/1250 @ f7.1, ISO 400. Canon 5D & 500mm lens, hand held. These were a little group of overwintering birds taken early in the morning. Levels, dropped and sharpened. A pity the dominant bird wasn't facing into the light.Click image for larger version.
