I did not realise at the time, but these are one of the rarest gulls in the world (perhaps 300 or 400 pairs). I should have taken a few more photos. They were even outside my room while at the Hotel Solymar later in the trip. The best of an ordinary lot.


This was taken on rocks at Cerro Brujo on San Cristóbal Island.
